Overview

The Aerospace Structural Welder position is pending contract award and is located in El Centro, CA. The role involves using various welding techniques to join metal components in the aerospace industry, requiring significant experience in military aviation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components.
• Fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in DOD military aviation maintenance in the last ten (10) years.
• At least three (3) years' experience of aeronautical welding in an aviation maintenance environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in aviation and aerospace welding, and structures sheet metal and fabrication.
• Must follow Military Specifications 1595 for Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.
• High school diploma or GED, and graduate of a school equivalent to Navy A and/or C school or Certificate of Welding.
