Overview
We're seeking a skilled and passionate part-time welding instructor to teach our Welding I: Essentials, Safety, and MIG Class and potentially other classes/workshops. This position offers good pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Teach about 4-8 classes per month that are 3-4 hours each with 8 people.
- Plan and prepare your own classes, including curriculum development and materials lists.
- Purchase and transport all necessary materials and equipment for each class.
- Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and guidance to students.
- Encourage students to explore their creativity and build confidence.
- Maintain prompt email communication with the class director and respond to student inquiries.
Requirements
- 4+ years of welding experience.
- 2+ years of teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to lead without assistance during class.
- A reasonably flexible schedule to accommodate class scheduling.

Additional Information
