Overview

The Welder/Fabricator position at a quarry plant involves repairing and maintaining stationary machinery and mechanical equipment in a busy outdoor environment. The ideal candidate should be energetic, dependable, and self-motivated, with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain stationary machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems, shakers, and gearboxes.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Work primarily outside in the field.

Requirements

• 5 plus years of welding, cutting and fabrication skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all mobile and plant equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Mechanically inclined with a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Welding Certification preferred.
• Ability to commute to Good Hope, GA 30641.
