Job Description
Overview
NES Fircroft is seeking a reliable Production Welder in Spring, Texas, capable of MIG welding carbon steel and stainless steel assemblies per engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have previous welding experience and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel assemblies per drawings.
- TIG welding as required (preferred but not mandatory).
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
- Maintain consistent weld quality in a production setting.
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
- Follow all safety guidelines and shop procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a production welder.
- Proficient in MIG welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
- Ability to weld assemblies per drawing.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- TIG welding experience preferred.
- Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
