Overview

Essner Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Welder to join their dynamic aerospace manufacturing team in Ft. Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in welding various alloys while adhering to specific documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Must be AWS D17.1 qualified within 3 months of employment.
• Perform a variety of approved welding techniques to required tolerances per engineering specifications.
• Read, interpret and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements.
• Use employee self-service systems to access online information and specialized automated systems.
• Weld components from mechanical drawings, blueprints and written specifications.
• Make adjustments to fine-tune the process to achieve product conformance.
• Document and log all parts as necessary and maintain required paperwork accurately.
• Inspect and appropriately process all work performed.
• Complete rework in a timely fashion.
• Maintain work area and equipment in an organized, clean and FOD-free manner.
• Obtain and maintain all required qualifications and certifications in material groups.
• Maintain a satisfactory high level of performance while following appropriate procedures and safety rules.
• Utilize knowledge to efficiently perform all assigned work and become proficient on new assignments.
• Gain ability to perform basic set-up.
• Implement lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Observe all company policies and procedures, including safety rules.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of verifiable welding experience including TIG welding for stainless, Inconel, and titanium.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
