Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Welding Inspector to join our dynamic team in Central Illinois. In this role, you’ll enjoy working in the field while collaborating with a diverse team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards.
• Identify and address welding defects.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors.
• Ensure the integrity and safety of natural gas distribution pipeline projects through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes.

Requirements

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) or equivalent (CPWI).
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Enjoys working in the field and solving challenges in real time.
• Advanced certifications related to welding inspection.
• Experience in natural gas distribution projects.
