Atria Senior Living is seeking Housekeepers to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. The company offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for advancement and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas and residents' apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Distribute laundered articles and linens.
• Change beds and clean public restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Dust furniture and equipment, and polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding resident laundry.
• Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors and checking lint traps.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
• Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Stock the cleaning cart with supplies and empty wastebaskets.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Work with maintenance to ensure trash and dumpster areas are clean.
• Request maintenance work orders for repairs needed.
• Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
• Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues to Supervisor.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, and vacuums.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Information

• Wage range is $13.00/hr - $15.60/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience.
