Overview

Ludwig Drilling LLC is seeking a Welder to execute welding tasks in accordance with company safety policies. The role involves utilizing TIG and MIG welding processes to fabricate metal components based on blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Execute work in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Utilize TIG and MIG welding processes to weld milled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Fabricate materials and components using blueprints.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting or grinding.
• Set materials in stands, racks, or hoists for welding.
• Buff and grind milled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Properly utilize hand tools and welding equipment.
• Perform vertical and horizontal welding tasks.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in construction/drilling.
• 3 years of welding/fabrication experience (required).
• 1 year of experience reading and building off shop drawings (required).
• Auger and Kelly Bar welding experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Ability to set up, layout, and tack up various metals.
• Ability to meet safety standards and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

Additional Information

• Location: Castle Rock, Colorado.
• Hourly (Non-Exempt)/At-Will status.
• Ability to work more than 40 hours in a week including weekends.
