Responsibilities
Requirements
- Experience with TIG welding (GTAW), primarily on stainless steel and sometimes aluminum
- Ability to weld thin gauge materials with precision and minimal defects
- Strong understanding of weld symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Knowledge of proper heat control and filler material selection
- Ability to perform clean, high-quality welds with little to no rework
- Understanding of shielding gases (argon/helium) and their applications
- Familiarity with different joint types and welding positions
- Ability to inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Knowledge of safety standards and PPE requirements
- Certification in TIG welding (e.g., AWS certification) is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or precision fabrication environments is preferred
- Experience welding aluminum is a plus
