Responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience with TIG welding (GTAW), primarily on stainless steel and sometimes aluminum
• Ability to weld thin gauge materials with precision and minimal defects
• Strong understanding of weld symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Knowledge of proper heat control and filler material selection
• Ability to perform clean, high-quality welds with little to no rework
• Understanding of shielding gases (argon/helium) and their applications
• Familiarity with different joint types and welding positions
• Ability to inspect welds for quality and accuracy
• Knowledge of safety standards and PPE requirements
• Certification in TIG welding (e.g., AWS certification) is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or precision fabrication environments is preferred
• Experience welding aluminum is a plus

• The pay rate is 24.00 to 28.00 an hour
• Monday thru Friday: 6:00 am to 4:40 pm (6:00 am to 2:40 PM)
