Overview

The HVAC/Plumbing Designer position at KODIAK involves coordinating and creating detailed drawings in accordance with project specifications while ensuring effective communication with project managers. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and work efficiently according to plans and specifications.
• Document and provide marked-up submittals to the Project Manager.
• Monitor and report when coordination and detailing require additional work.
• Attend job meetings as requested by the Project Manager.
• Generate full coordination drawings and necessary paperwork.
• Provide clear, dimensional, and accurate drawings.
• Visit job sites as necessary to complete work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand contract drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner.
• Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency while remaining calm in emergencies.
• Possess field experience as a construction sheet metal mechanic or sheet metal foreman or Licensed Plumber.

• FLSA CLASSIFICATION- NON-EXEMPT: HOURLY
• LOCATION: DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TX
• Stable work with a guaranteed 40 hours per week minimum, flexible work hours.
