Overview

Advance Services is hiring a 3G Welder in the Grand Prairie area for a night shift position. This role offers opportunities for advancement, on-the-job training, and excellent pay while focusing on welding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Pass 3G weld test with back gouge and back weld using FCAW process.
• Weld within ASME standards and maintain a 95% acceptance rate with ASME codes.
• Inspect spirally welded cylinders for defects and repair them to meet specifications.
• Utilize flux-core welding process, cutting torches, and hand-held grinders to complete repairs.
• Work independently and in groups to identify and resolve problems.
• Follow all policies and procedures to support organizational goals.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in welding, specifically in flux-core welding.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in welding.
• Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, and verbal form.
• Experience with FCAW/GMAW; SAW experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
