Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, who can independently troubleshoot, repair, and optimize large rooftop units, air-cooled chillers, and advanced control systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot compressors, gas heat exchangers, TXVs, economizers, and VFDs.
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, manometers, and refrigerant analyzers.
• Optimize systems for efficiency, including superheat, subcooling, and refrigerant charge.
• Independently perform service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct leak detection, refrigerant recovery, and recharging per EPA 608 standards.
• Ensure HVAC systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to customers.
• Document service work, repairs, and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Recommend system upgrades or service agreements when appropriate.
• Follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ASHRAE standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC service.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience using diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with large rooftop units, air-cooled chillers, VFDs, and cooling towers.
• Professional, reliable, and safety-focused.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8- or 12-hour shifts, weekends as needed.
• Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX, in-person work, must be able to commute or relocate prior to start.
