Overview
We are hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our commercial mechanical team in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX. This is a hands-on role for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality work, safety, and teamwork, offering a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC systems including spiral duct, round pipe, flex duct, dampers, air devices, louvers, and air-moving equipment.
- Read and install from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Fabricate and modify duct and sheet metal using brakes, shears, rollers, punches, snips, drills, and power tools.
- Install hangers, connections, TDC, drives, clips, sealant, screws, nuts, and bolts.
- Make final connections to equipment and ensure airtight systems.
- Drill, punch, and install duct taps.
- Operate man lifts, personal lifts, duct jacks, and chain hoists.
- Lead or assist apprentices/helpers as needed.
- Work safely at heights using ladders and lifts.
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial or industrial HVAC sheet metal experience.
- Strong knowledge of duct installation and fabrication.
- Experience leading or training helpers/apprentices.
- OSHA 10 preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Safety-focused, dependable, and professional.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Additional Information
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8- or 12-hour shifts, weekends as needed.
- Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX, in-person work, must be able to commute or relocate prior to start.
