Overview

We are seeking skilled Vessel Welders to join our team in Houston, TX. The role involves welding on storage tanks, spheres, and water towers using stick and flux core techniques, with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on storage tanks, spheres, and water towers using stick and flux core methods.
• Back gouge as part of the welding process to ensure 100% x-ray quality.
• Operate an overhead crane to assist with welding tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings to perform precise welding and fabrication tasks.
• Conduct own layouts and fit-ups for welding projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a vessel welder.
• Ability to pass 2G and 3G weld tests and perform back gouging.
• Proficiency in welding using flux core and stick methods.
• Experience in operating an overhead crane.

Additional Information

• Work schedule: Day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• After six months, night shift from 4:15 p.m. to 2:45 a.m., Monday through Friday.
• Location: Houston, TX 77064.
