Job Description
Overview
The Welder Machine Operator position is a temporary role focused on operating CNC welding machines for pipe and component fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, be bi-lingual, and possess strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC welding machines for pipe and component fabrication.
- Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and job specifications.
- Monitor welding processes and adjust parameters for optimal quality.
- Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with fire safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience with CNC welding.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding processes and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be bi-lingual.
