Overview

Circle A Manufacturing Inc. is a bulk feed trailer and body manufacturing company that designs, develops, builds, and supports bulk feed delivery equipment. They are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fitter to join their dynamic team in Alexandria, AL, focusing on welding and fabrication of aluminum and steel.

Responsibilities

• Consistently work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.
• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on aluminum and steel, particularly sheet metal.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards during all welding processes.
• Inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
• Utilize cranes for the safe movement of heavy materials and components.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure precision.
• Utilize basic shop and welding tools, both powered and hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• 3+ years proven experience as a MIG welder/fitter or similar role in manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Aluminum and steel MIG welding experience, with aluminum welding being a must.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy material and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Mechanically minded.
• Good work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Formal welding training/certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time direct hire position located onsite in Alexandria, AL.
• First shift hours are 5 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. M-TH with overtime possible on Fridays.
• Pre-employment drug screens are required as a condition of employment.
