Overview

You will be responsible for welding on structural iron and completing the tasks in a timely, quality manner. The shop is located in North Sacramento (McClellan, CA).

Responsibilities

• Careful initial planning of the job to be carried out.
• Reading and following erection drawings/plans.
• Using mobile elevated work platforms, ladders, and lifts as the structure gains height.
• Strict adherence to OSHA guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Knowledge of reading erection drawings/plans.
• 2+ years experience as a Structural Steel Welder.
• Welding certification.
• Good practical skills for using tools.
• Logic and good problem-solving ability.
• Good listening skills and the ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Good physical fitness and agility.
• A sense of balance and head for heights.
• An accurate, organized, and methodical approach to work.
• A good team worker.
• An awareness and respect for health and safety working practices.
