Overview

The Spacecraft Technician/Fabricator position at Interorbital involves working with composite materials and supporting rocket test and launch site activities. Candidates should have a background in composite layup and metalworking, particularly in welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite layup including fabric and resin preparation.
• Support rocket test and launch site activities.
• Assist in developing new composite manufacturing procedures.
• Utilize metalworking skills including machining and welding.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience with composite layup.
• Pressure vessel layup experience preferred but not required.
• MIG welding experience required; TIG welding experience is a plus.
• Some metalworking experience including machining and welding.
