Overview

The welder will be responsible for performing operations necessary to install, modify, dismantle, repair, overhaul and rebuild various types of equipment and vehicles appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations to install, modify, dismantle, repair, overhaul and rebuild various types of equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks according to work schedule.
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of equipment and tools.
• Must be able to use cutting torches.
• Install and repair various equipment and components.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
• Must be able to use and read measuring devices including square, levels and tape measures.
• Must possess basic math skills for calculating material fabrication.
• Ability to weld and repair vehicles/equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to perform physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• May be required to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to twist, bend, stoop or reach.
