Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Manufacturer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in welding and fabrication, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with company and industry safety standards.
  • Prepare materials by cutting, cleaning, and shaping components to ensure proper fit and high-quality welds.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and team members to review project requirements and resolve fabrication challenges.
  • Inspect finished products and conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
  • Follow established welding procedures and guidelines, selecting appropriate materials and techniques for each project.
  • Monitor inventory of welding supplies and request replenishment as needed.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and project progress.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve welding techniques, workflow efficiency, and overall product quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in welding preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Welder/Manufacturer, preferably within the industry type sector.
  • Proven proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding across a variety of metals and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing precise, high-quality work.
  • Solid understanding of welding safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment and fabrication issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
  • Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) are a plus.
