Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Manufacturer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in welding and fabrication, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Prepare materials by cutting, cleaning, and shaping components to ensure proper fit and high-quality welds.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and team members to review project requirements and resolve fabrication challenges.
- Inspect finished products and conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
- Follow established welding procedures and guidelines, selecting appropriate materials and techniques for each project.
- Monitor inventory of welding supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Accurately document work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Continuously seek ways to improve welding techniques, workflow efficiency, and overall product quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in welding preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a Welder/Manufacturer, preferably within the industry type sector.
- Proven proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding across a variety of metals and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing precise, high-quality work.
- Solid understanding of welding safety standards and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment and fabrication issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) are a plus.
