Overview

We are expanding our structural steel erecting company and are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working Journeyman Ironworkers to join our team in the Phoenix area. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a structural steel ironworker and be ready to contribute to a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Install and erect structural steel members to form skeletal structures for buildings, bridges, stairs, canopies, and other structures.
• Weld and cut steel and interpret blueprints.
• Install iron or steel girders, columns, and other construction materials.
• Erect and place structural steel members such as columns, beams, joists, and girders.
• Direct operation of cranes to move structural steel and other materials on the construction site.
• Connect steel columns, beams, and girders with bolts following blueprints and instructions from the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a structural steel ironworker.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 2 years of welding experience (preferred).
• Ability to relocate to Gilbert, AZ 85233 before starting work (required).
