Overview
Reiter’s Custom Welding is a family-owned metal fabrication company with 30 years of experience, seeking a talented and driven welder/fabricator to join their team in Arizona. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with opportunities for overtime, especially in the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Weld metal parts together using gas welding and arc welding processes.
- Fit and fabricate metal components as per job specifications.
- Use shears, grinders, torches, press brakes, or drill presses as needed.
- Verify dimensions and product specifications.
- Properly set up welding machines and adjust settings as required.
- Clean slag and splatter from welds and surrounding areas.
- Read and interpret shop drawings to meet quality control standards.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Adhere to assembly safety standards.
- Assist with general shop and welding area cleanup.
Requirements
- At least one year of welding experience in a shop or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of welding processes and equipment, including MIG, TIG, Stick Welding, and Flux Core.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to perform basic math operations.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good standing MVR record.
