Overview

Foutz Motorsports is seeking a Welder / Fabricator for their off-road shop, offering immediate positions in a climate-controlled facility. Candidates should have experience in off-road fabrication or a similar race environment and possess expert-level skills in both MIG and TIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Welding and preparing jobs for fabrication.
• Reading blueprints and building to fixtures from handmade or bent parts.
• Bending tubing and making parts from scratch.
• Ensuring all products are correct and pass quality control.
• Arriving to work on time every day.
• Being a self-starter and hard worker to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Experience in bending tubing and sheet metal parts into welded assemblies.
• Expert level MIG welding and some TIG welding skills.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• Self-motivated and assertive with a response to production metrics.
• Knowledge of basic measurement tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers).
• Ability to contribute to a positive team spirit.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Automotive mechanical knowledge is required.
• Minimum 3 years of high-end race shop or aerospace fabrication experience.
• Expert level MIG welder and excellent TIG welder.

Additional Information

• Compensation ranges from $25 to $27 per hour depending on experience.
• Normal working hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• Job is full-time and located at the main facility in Mesa, Arizona.
