Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and quality welds.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting and shaping components.
- Ensure proper fit and alignment of welded parts, making adjustments as necessary.
- Identify and repair any defects or imperfections in the welding process.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to achieve project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proficient in various welding techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and precision work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 3-4+ years of welding experience.
- Must clear a background check for work on government job sites.
- Willing to work occasional nights and weekends.
- Welding Certifications (6G Certified).
