Overview
The Systems Group is seeking a Mig Pipe Welder in El Dorado, AR, offering a pay rate of up to $28 per hour for 40+ hours a week. The company is committed to providing engineered solutions for a safer and more productive steel industry, and the selected individual will contribute to both day-to-day operations and long-term strategies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces and select appropriate filler metals.
- Set up the welding equipment.
- Control the welding gun, wire feed, and shielding gas to create strong and clean welds.
- Inspect welds for defects to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings.
- Ability to understand welding symbols.
- Ensure proper weld integrity.
- Achieve desired strength and appearance of welded joints.
- Previous mig welding experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
- Must have OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
