Maynard Inc. is a trusted leader in high-precision CNC machining and advanced fabrication, delivering critical components for aerospace, space, defense, and commercial customers worldwide. The company, established in 1982, is located in Fayetteville, AR, and is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join their dynamic, growth-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW), resistance welding, brazing, and fabrication on stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and work instructions.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment.
• Complete accurate production documentation including weld logs, job routings, and maintenance records.
• Perform proper pre-weld and post-weld cleaning, preparation, and finishing.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Report equipment issues and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Support team productivity goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of welding and fabrication experience in an industrial setting required.
• Formal welding education or certifications are a plus but not required.
• Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum required.
• Experience welding highly cosmetic/highly polished weldments preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic shop math.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to pass.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM with occasional overtime available.
• Work Environment: Temperature-controlled manufacturing facility with exposure to hot materials, welding arc light, dust, and industrial chemicals (PPE provided).
• Standing or sitting for extended periods, repetitive motion and occasional heavy lifting.
