Overview

Four Corners Welding & Gas Supply is a leading regional distributor of welding and gas supplies in the Southwestern U.S. The Entry-Level Steel Cutter / Yard Associate is responsible for assisting with cutting, handling, and organizing steel and metal products in the yard while ensuring safety standards and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cut steel to customer specifications using company equipment.
• Use tape measure, ruler, or calipers to mark steel for cutting.
• Operate a chop saw, band saw, an iron worker, and other power tools.
• Load, unload, and move materials and steel safely within the yard.
• Assist customers with material selection, pickup, and inquiries.
• Keep grounds clean and well maintained.
• Ensure tools and storage areas are properly maintained and secured.
• Practice safe work habits and use personal protective equipment.
• Communicate clearly and foster a collaborative work culture.
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Class C Driver’s License required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience required.

Additional Information

• Full-time position requiring availability Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
