Overview

CACI is seeking an experienced Machinist / Fabricator to join its technical team in Albuquerque, NM. The position involves mechanical component fabrication and requires travel in the continental United States for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical component fabrication.
• Knowledgeable of applicable processes and standards covering parts machining and fabrication.
• Interface with Mechanical Engineers and Designers on fabrication methods and processes.
• Perform manual tasks such as metal cutting, grinding, sanding, filing, and materials removal.
• Maintain and adhere to operational procedures and work instructions.
• Assist with preparation of reports and appropriate documentation.

Requirements

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Experience with basic powered and hand tools.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining and fabrication.
• Vocational or technical education is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD.
• Physical abilities to operate tools and equipment.
