Overview

SJ Truck Bodies is a local, fast growing truck fabrication company located in Monroeville, NJ. They are seeking a highly motivated Truck Upfitter/Installer Mechanic to join their team, who can work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Installation of truck body in cab/chassis truck frames.
• Installation of 12V lighting, switches, and other functions.
• Installation of hydraulic systems and PTO's, and subframe components.
• Lengthening and shortening of truck frames.
• Measuring and frame drilling.
• Some welding required.
• General assembly.
• Forklift operation.
• Keeping up inventory of install supplies.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, lift, climb or balance, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Requirements

• 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of shop equipment.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to make sense of drawing and work orders.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Knowledge of basic math, tape measuring reading, fractions & decimals.
• Power tool experience.
• Take instructions and follow through.
• Team player.
