Overview
Alpine Painting and Sandblasting Contractors, founded in 1975, is a trusted provider of commercial and industrial coatings, surface preparation, and specialty welding services throughout the Tri-State area. The Welding Salesperson is responsible for developing new business, building long-term client relationships, and supporting the estimating and proposal process for welding and related services.
Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, drawings, and scope documents.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Develop and submit professional bid proposals on time and in compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Obtain and evaluate competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Participate in bid reviews and client follow-ups.
- Identify project risks and assist in mitigation planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3–5 years of relevant field experience.
- Proven sales experience (welding or industrial services preferred).
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and materials.
- Experience with estimating and proposal development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools.

Additional Information
- Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (flexibility required).
- Location: Office-based with field visits.
