Overview
Safely performs welding and all duties associated with the construction, maintenance and operations of company pipeline, compressor, production, gathering and storage facilities. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and related tasks for pipeline and facility operations.
- Respond to emergencies and work overtime as needed.
- Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree in welding, welding certificate or equivalent work experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid motor vehicle driver's license and meet applicable DOT commercial driver requirements.
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attacks and unauthorized access.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
- Subject to pre-employment background check and drug testing.
- Subject to the company DOT substance testing program.
- Travel with overnight stays.
- Pass company welder qualification test or be currently qualified.
- Ability to be certified to wear a respirator if required.
- Pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently.
- Welding certificate and crane certificate.
- Knowledge of natural gas pipeline maintenance and construction activities, including DOT and OSHA regulations.
