Overview

Universal Stainless, Inc. specializes in manufacturing custom equipment for the food, dairy & beverage industries. They are seeking a skilled and energetic Stainless Steel TIG Welder/Fabricator to join their dynamic manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings.
• Weld stainless steel components as specified per engineering drawings or verbal instructions.
• Assemble components using hand power tools, grinders and other hand tools needed to complete the job requirements.

Requirements

• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Ability to read measurements to weld assemblies using a variety of measuring devices.
• Must be experienced with TIG welding operations.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, and operation of welding equipment including machine settings for various welding processes.
• Display a positive attitude and strong desire to learn and grow.
• Demonstrate safe work practices creating a safe working environment for self and others.
• Ability to work independently or with others.
• 2 years’ TIG welding experience preferred.
• Experience with sanitary equipment fabrication preferred.
