Overview

We are searching for a Projection Welder at our Portland, OR facility. The role involves setting up machines to exact specifications and preparing them for production.

Responsibilities

• Setup machines to exacting specifications and prepare machines for production
• Operate various projection welding machine setups
• Arrange job parts by line number and by like pieces for processing
• Check all dimensions/locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handing for accuracy
• Mark identification information on material for communication with fellow employees as well as end user
• Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets and closer reinforcements

Requirements

• Must be proficient at reading work orders
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
