Overview

Ohio Truck Equipment, a division of Robertson Truck Sales, is seeking an experienced Truck Upfitter / Equipment Installer to join their growing team. The company specializes in the upfitting of medium and heavy-duty trucks and offers a positive work environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Modify and install medium to heavy-duty truck bodies and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and schematics.
• Manually load sheet metal into machines.
• Start machines, monitor their operation, and record operation data.
• Install and align specified drilling.
• Set up and weld components.
• Repair equipment and components by welding.
• Diagnose electrical issues.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures.
• Accurately record inventory used on job tasks.

Requirements

• 10 years of equipment installation, welding, or fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic fabrication skills including cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding.
• General knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
• At least 10 years of experience using hand and power tools, preferably in automotive applications.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and manuals.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess a positive work attitude and willingness to work with team members.
• Detail oriented with the ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, 100 pounds assisted.
• Must be willing to supply necessary tools.
• Commitment to safety and company safety policies.
• Ability to maintain excellent housekeeping habits.

Additional Information

• Full Time, Monday through Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm, optional overtime available on Fridays.
• Work Location: In person.
