Overview

Sheet Metal Fabricators will apply their sheet metal skills and knowledge to fabricate for residential and commercial HVAC job applications.

Responsibilities

• Forming, cutting, and bending metal to create fabricated units accurately.
• Welding and insulating assemblies in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing additional production and warehouse duties as needed in the production process.

Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, and general shop processes.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Experience with sheet metal shearing is a plus.
• Familiarity with press brakes is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.

Additional Information

• This position operates in a typical warehouse environment.
• May involve occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
• The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
• Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and perform bending and kneeling on a daily basis.
