Mechanical Contractors Inc is hiring Millwright/Welders in Groton, SD and occasionally in Big Stone South Dakota, Southern/Western Minnesota, and Iowa. The position offers full-time hours with competitive pay and per diem for travel.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Positive attitude and self-motivated
• Knowledge in industrial setting
• Ability to weld structural steel
• Possess your own hand tools for fabrication and installation
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general safety guidelines
• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• Ability to work in East SD, Western/Southern MN, and Iowa
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• 1 year of Millwright experience (Preferred)

Additional Information

• Hours are Monday-Friday, 10 hour shifts, 50 hours weekly and occasional weekend work.
• Pay is $32 to $38/hour dependent on experience with $150/day per diem for travel if living more than 50 miles from job.
