Overview

The Pipe Fabricator position involves performing routine duties while operating equipment to cut, thread, and groove pipes, make fittings, bundle pipes, and maintain cleanliness. Candidates will receive training in all necessary fabrication processes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotary cold saw and band saw to cut pipe to length.
• Handle movement of pipe along the length of the table and offload to a cart or crate for staging.
• Operate roll-grooving machine for grooved pipe end process.
• Operate threader to apply thread to desired pipe.
• Operate Make-on machine to apply fitting on desired pipe.
• Operate band saw to cut threaded rod to specified lengths.
• Push loaded pipe carts to desired area for loading purposes.
• Use forklift when necessary to retrieve materials and move pipe.
• Operate bander to ready pipe bundles for shipment when required.
• Complete training curriculum including safety requirements while demonstrating competence.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Handle additional tasks as deemed necessary by fabrication lead or manager.
