Responsibilities

• Perform measurements, cutting, and assembly of metal manufacturing products.
• Select suitable materials and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
• Determine gas ratios and inspect weld strength during and after the welding process.
• Construct trusses for various applications.
• Participate in design and production-related topics and collaborate with other departments.
• Clean and inspect welding equipment and tools regularly.
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot as required.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• AWS Certification preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in structural welding.
• Detail-oriented and efficient with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret various instructions in different forms.
• Computer literate.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.

• Shifts available: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm), 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 2 pm-10:30 pm), 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday 10 pm-6:30 am), WKND 1 (Friday-Sunday 6 am-6:30 pm), WKND 2 (Friday-Sunday 6 pm-6:30 am).
