Responsibilities
- Perform measurements, cutting, and assembly of metal manufacturing products.
- Select suitable materials and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
- Determine gas ratios and inspect weld strength during and after the welding process.
- Construct trusses for various applications.
- Participate in design and production-related topics and collaborate with other departments.
- Clean and inspect welding equipment and tools regularly.
- Diagnose issues and troubleshoot as required.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to Supervisor or Manager.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
- AWS Certification preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in structural welding.
- Detail-oriented and efficient with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret various instructions in different forms.
- Computer literate.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.

- Shifts available: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm), 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 2 pm-10:30 pm), 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday 10 pm-6:30 am), WKND 1 (Friday-Sunday 6 am-6:30 pm), WKND 2 (Friday-Sunday 6 pm-6:30 am).
