Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on steel components, including long seams and girth seams.
• Weld in 2G and 3G positions while maintaining consistent quality and penetration.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment based on material type, thickness, and WPS requirements.
• Read and interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Maintain consistent weld appearance and quality across high-volume production runs.
• Perform visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Complete minor grinding, cleanup, and weld finishing as required.
• Maintain welding equipment in safe and proper working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Meet production targets without compromising quality.

Requirements

• Prior experience with MIG (GMAW) welding in a production environment.
• Ability to maintain consistent weld quality over repetitive work.
• Basic understanding of weld settings (voltage, wire speed, gas flow).
• Ability to read basic blueprints or weld symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Dependable and able to maintain steady performance throughout shift.
• Commitment to working safely in an industrial environment.

Additional Information

• Night Shift (6 PM – 6 AM)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently on a routine basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain safe body positioning.
