Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on steel components, including long seams and girth seams.
- Weld in 2G and 3G positions while maintaining consistent quality and penetration.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment based on material type, thickness, and WPS requirements.
- Read and interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), blueprints, and weld symbols.
- Maintain consistent weld appearance and quality across high-volume production runs.
- Perform visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Complete minor grinding, cleanup, and weld finishing as required.
- Maintain welding equipment in safe and proper working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Meet production targets without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Prior experience with MIG (GMAW) welding in a production environment.
- Ability to maintain consistent weld quality over repetitive work.
- Basic understanding of weld settings (voltage, wire speed, gas flow).
- Ability to read basic blueprints or weld symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Dependable and able to maintain steady performance throughout shift.
- Commitment to working safely in an industrial environment.

Additional Information
- Night Shift (6 PM – 6 AM)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently on a routine basis.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain safe body positioning.
