Overview

The Welder position requires 2 to 5 years of tig welding experience and at least 2 years of fabricating or fitting. The ideal candidate should be able to read blueprints, problem solve, and maintain a steady work pace while demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and problem solve.
• Read measuring tape and convert simple fractions.
• Maintain a steady constant pace.
• Demonstrate good moral and high work ethic.
• Work until the project is completed.
• Go above and beyond to please customers.
• Use drill and chase holes center and on the mark.
• Use common power tools.
• Square and level frames.
• Use angle grinders skillfully to cut and finish products.
• Understand warping in metal and fix it.
• Spread heat over large flat frames to prevent warping.
• Think outside the box.
• Have a basic understanding of palm sanding and fine finishing aluminum.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of tig welding experience.
• At least 2 years of fabricating or fitting experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to read measuring tape and convert simple fractions.
• Skillful with angle grinders.
• Basic understanding of warping in metal.
• Basic understanding of spreading heat over large flat frames.
