Overview

The Boilermaker/Fabricator role involves the fabrication and installation of various metal structures, primarily working from a factory with some travel to job sites. The position requires experience in welding and fabrication, as well as the operation of various machinery.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of various gates, posts, brackets, etc.
• Installation of fencing and gates.
• Work with plasma machine frequently.
• Perform general structural and mechanical maintenance.
• Operate various machines including press brake, plasma, guillotine, lathe, mill, drill press, MiG and stick welder, bandsaw, and various power tools.

Requirements

• Well experienced with welding and fabrication.
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Plasma machine knowledge.
• Skilled in MiG, stick, and tig welding.
• High school certificate with after school certificate/diploma in a mechanical or structural trade.
• Ability to work with layouts and developments.
• At least 2 years experience as a fabricator/boilermaker.
• Competent in the use of Excel, Word, and Office.
• Ability to take initiative to find solutions to specific problems.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
