The Fabricator (Welder) will play a vital role in assembling and preparing fire sprinkler system components in a fabrication shop, emphasizing effective communication, trustworthiness, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery and tools including welders, pipe threaders, hand tools, saws, and grinders.
• Follow detailed fabrication instructions, assembly drawings, and procedures for accurate production.
• Perform daily clean-up and organization of the fabrication shop.
• Inspect equipment and tools for safety and functionality, reporting issues to the Shop Foreman.
• Participate in inventory management tasks, including counting and organizing materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials and completed components.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Engage in continuous learning and training to improve skills in fire sprinkler system fabrication.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Deliver parts and materials to job sites and pick up materials from vendors.
