Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel parts as specified per drawing or print.
• Safely produce a quality product.
• Maintain housekeeping.
• Obtain and maintain all welding certifications.
• Ensure structural components are welded correctly with visual inspection.
• Work swing shifts and be available for weekends and holidays as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with reading measuring devices such as tape measures, gauges, and micrometers.
• Knowledge of weld symbols and weld defects.
• Ability to pass a 3G Weld Test within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge or utilization of air arc gouging and plasma torch.
• Ability to operate a standard overhead crane.
