Overview
We are seeking experienced welders to join our Manufacturing team, working on building home and gun safes. Applicants must have welding experience and be able to pass a weld test. We offer an in-house certification program, along with on-the-job and cross-training opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Weld and/or grind to assist the production line.
- Work as a team to produce safes.
- Move between different areas as needed.
- Load/unload steel.
- Verify part dimensions.
- Ensure quality standards.
- Operate all machines if needed.
- Meet daily production goals.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Adhere to safety regulations.
- Report scrap steel.
- Be willing to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with metal work and assembly tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload, including repeated and constant standing, bending, stooping, lifting, etc.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attendance habits.
Additional Information
- Regular schedule is Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm.
- Fridays are occasionally worked.
