Overview

Metal Masters, LLC is hiring an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing, family-owned fabrication shop in Williamsburg, VA. The position requires strong hands-on experience in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and multiple welding processes, with opportunities to work on a variety of projects for commercial, residential, and local government clients.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, and repair metal structures and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform high-quality welding using MIG, TIG, and SMAW processes.
• Work with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials with attention to detail.
• Set up and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of welding or fabrication experience.
• Strong proficiency in MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and measuring techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, and lift.
• Welding certifications (MIG, TIG, SMAW).
• Brazing experience.
