Overview

A-1 Welding is hiring an experienced Industrial Fabricator / Fitter in Bellingham, WA. This full-time position requires managing workflow and ensuring welders have ready work while fabricating complex parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Read and work from shop drawings and prints
• Fit and assemble complex parts and weldments
• Stage and manage work to maintain consistent flow to welders
• Perform shop fabrication: cutting, drilling, grinding, prep, fit-up

Requirements

• Strong fitting experience (primary focus)
• 5+ years fabrication / fitting experience
• Ability to work from prints without hand-holding
• AWS certification is a plus but not required
