Overview

WeldFab Manufacturing, located in Slinger, WI, is seeking highly skilled welders for a weekend shift position. The company has been a trusted name in custom sheet metal fabrication since 1990 and is committed to quality and craftsmanship while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Robotic welding on carbon and stainless steel.
• Interpret weld symbols and blueprints; place precise welds and repair defects as needed.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Perform weld machine maintenance including torches, wire barrels, contact tips, nozzles, and diffusers.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they are free of scale, spatter, and defects.
• Measure work pieces using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to confirm conformance to specs.
• Operate overhead cranes.
• Log job information into computer systems.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on welding experience in a fabrication environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and weld symbols.
• Proficiency with measuring tools — calipers, micrometers, tape measures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Additional Information

• Work 36 hours, get paid for 40.
• Shift hours are 5am-5pm Friday-Sunday.
• Work location is in person.
