Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair work of hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical and other mechanical systems in the shop and in the field.
• Proactive in selling products that would benefit the customer.
• Test systems.
• Support startups and field commissions as necessary.
• Work with business unit manager to develop and grow service business.

Requirements

• Industrial experience with hydraulic repairs and systems.
• Hydraulic hose fabrication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Welding experience (preferably certified in MIG and/or TIG welding).
• Experience in tube fabrication, bending and end conditioning.
• Experience with metal fabrication.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Skills to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines.
• Demonstrated dependability and ability to work independently.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Demonstrated adherence to safe work habits and practices, including the use of PPE and safety devices.
• High school diploma or GED.

Additional Information

• Customer facilities, job sites and field service.
• Requires employee to spend the majority of his or her time on foot, lifting, bending, standing and carrying items.
• Steel toe shoes, flame retardant clothing and eye protection are required.
• Must have flexibility in work hours including evenings and weekends.
• Extensive travel required.
