Overview

ReconCraft is seeking a Fabricator to be responsible for all manners of fabrication to manufacture new vessels and related components. The role involves preparing, assembling, and welding components based on specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment using GMAW and GTAW techniques to weld aluminum and steel in all positions.
• Prepare weldments using saws, routers, grinders, pneumatic cutting tools, wire brushes, and hand tools.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and schedules to lay out patterns on material.
• Perform welding in the fabrication phase, including pre-fabrication of sub-assemblies using jigs and fixtures.
• Secure small parts for assembly and welding.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, man lifts, and other fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a professional, neat, and secure fabrication area.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Aluminum welding and fabrication experience.
• Must pass the Welding and Fabrication testing on site.
• Experience fabricating and assembling aluminum vessels and components is preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and weld schedules.
• Certification in operating forklifts is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Physical ability to grasp, stand, sit, walk, kneel, crawl, perform repetitive motions, bend, climb, listen, hear, and have visual acuity.
