Overview
We are seeking a skilled metal fabricator who is responsible for cutting, bending, and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Understand engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately.
- Use various tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Set up and operate machines such as shears, rollers, and welding equipment to create metal products.
- Perform inspections and quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work alongside other fabricators, welders, and engineers to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Proficiency in metal fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, and machining.
- Ability to measure accurately and ensure precision in all aspects of fabrication.
- Capable of troubleshooting issues that arise during the fabrication process.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; technical training or an apprenticeship in metal fabrication is preferred.
